If agencies usually prefer to work with separate contact lists to better control a portfolio made of independent customer accounts, the majority of users finds it more convenient to have a single unified list which gathers all of their target audience. If you are one of them, merging lists will allow you to save time in the maintenance of your contacts and the analysis of statistics.
In Contacts > Manage Contact Lists, click on the icon “Merge List” of one of the two lists to be combined (1)

Don’t worry about duplicated contacts: the system finds duplicated entries and avoid importing anew the same contact from list (2) into list (1). Also, our platform only merges active contacts: hard bounces, unsubscribes or accounts pending validation are not transferred.
Bear in mind that your merged list is a new list, run and managed separately from the two previously merged lists. Each one is independent and the changes that might occur in one list will not be reflected in the others.
As contacts are managed independently of each other when they belong to different lists, beware that the statistics of the new list start from scratch also. Even if the contacts already registered activity in other lists, their interaction within the new list is measured from zero in the new merged list.
