How to reduce unsubscribe?

Do you get a high percentage of unsubscribe after sending your campaigns? Follow these tips and you will be able to make it drop significantly:

• Send email campaigns only to contacts from whom you got express authorization. First of all,  because when someone receives an unsolicited email, it is very likely that he will unsubscribe. Then, because you must comply with the regulations on electronic communications. And last but not least, because if you do not follow the best practices, your emails will be marked as spam and your future sendings will end up in the spam folder.
• Take some time to identify your target audience correctly. It is important to know the interests of your target audience. If you have nothing to say that is of their interest, it is better not to send. If your contacts subscribed to receive news about eg. real-estate, do not send them printer deals.
• Do not send too many emails. (even if this can vary a lot depending on the industry and target audience). It is very important to setup a correct periodicity for your sendings. The rule is to send maximum one email every 15 days to the same contact list
• Send emails only if you have something to say. Behind each sending, you must have previously defined a strategy and specific objectives.
